Technical details of our halogen heating technology

All our vaporizers use Halogen heating technology. The advantages are numerous. First of all, halogen bulbs are completely enclosed with quartz glass, which means that the hottest part of the vaporizer, is completely safe as opposed to most other designs. This is something very important mainly for the health of the user.

Secondly, the main thing, vaporization of the active ingredients in different herbs just works amazingly well with a halogen heater. Our heating element is a combination of a stainless steel sleeve tube around the halogen bulb, and the effect on herbs is a combination of hot heated air travelling trough it, and the intense infrared and visible light penetration and absorbtion deep into the herbs and specifically the important trichomes found in many herbs

. This causes the vapor to be released, already at temperatures where the actual plant material is not yet as hot as it would need to be with a pure convection vaporizer, let alone conduction ones. In more simple words, strong vapors with better taste.

One more thing, that a good vaporizer needs to do is an ability to vaporize evenly the herbs in the chamber. Often in many designs, the stream of hot air travelling trough the herbs is either too much centered creating hot spots and on the other hand, there are parts of herb still with lots of vapor when other parts are already nearly charred.

We have tried to create as even results as possible. Naturally the halogen technology in itself helps as the light energy penetrates quite evenly, but also the airflow has been carefully thought out, and the heater construction features a design to create strong turbulence of moving air around the bulb, helping the airflow within the element to be mixed and resulting a single solid temperature stream of hot air travelling trough the herbs.
